This Blog is about Aayan’s cake smash photography session and family portrait which I had done indoor and outdoor on the occasion of his 1st Birthday.
Total Shoot Management
Shoot type – Indoor Shoot included Baby turning 1 Cake Smash Fun & Outdoor Shoot included Family Portrait
Place – Indoor photoshoot at client’s home and an outdoor photoshoot at a children park near to client’s home.
Duration – it was a 4 hrs photoshoot
Participants – 1 year old baby Boy & family

About Aayan
Aayan was a naughty little boy who loved to pose for the camera. He was very excited and laughed every time the camera made a sound of the click. His love for cakes could clearly be seen , the way he pounced on it and gulped a big bite in J He looked so cute every time he smashed it and quickly ate those smashed pieces around.
About Aayan’s Family
Ayaan’s family included his father, mother, cute elder sister, daadi and naani. Every member of the family was excited to pose in front of the camera. Their love and excitement at the same time made me think of some fun and cute poses for the family and they did it so well. It was a fun filled experience with all of them.
Props I Used
The theme that I decided for Aayan was a beach theme. For that I used a blue shiny curtain for backdrops to give it a under water look, a fishing net, some cute little shells, beach toys and handmade orange color star fish. I also ordered a beach theme cake for Aayan which had some water waves and a cute little orange crab on it. Also, after the cake smash session got over, we did a bath tub fun session with Aayan as well, that included a small bath tub of course and some yellow ducks with the same theme as earlier.
I started the photo session with individual clicks of our adorable baby Aayan. without the cake so that he gets comfortable and settles down.
A few minutes later Aayan was dressed up for his cake smash session. He had a print of a small orange color crab on his romper as well and that is where the idea of a beach theme came from J
After the cake smash session got over, we started with the Bath Tub session with him. He loved it even more and gave some adorable poses with the ducks that I had used as props. He splashed the water around and played with the foam in the water. It was so much fun watching him bath J
Later we went outdoor to a children park for the family photo-shoot. Started with some fun poses where both mum and paa gave a swinging ride to their daughter. Then Aayan’s father help him upside down, which made him laugh like crazy. It was fun clicking them all.
