Hi I am Ritika Sawhney – One of the Top rated Baby photographers in Mohali - Punjab.

This Blog is about Kavya’s photography session with props and family portrait which I had done indoor and outdoor on the occasion of her 1st Birthday.


Total Shoot Management

Shoot type – Indoor Shoot included Baby’s photoshoot with different props & Outdoor Shoot included Family Portrait

Place – Indoor photoshoot at my studio in Thane and an outdoor photoshoot at the club house.

Duration- It was a 4 hrs photoshoot

Participants – 1 year old baby Girl & parents

Shoot requirements – High end DSLR camera & lenses, plenty of Props, beautiful backdrops, a cheerful, friendly & classy photographer – Ritika Sawhney


 

About Kavya

Kavya, who was soon going to turn one after two days of her shoot, was a pretty little girl blushing all the time.


She was a naughty baby with her father and a subtle & calm baby with her mother.


She gave some cute poses while the shoot. The most interesting part was when we called out her name and she blushed every time.


She was eager to touch and feel every prop that I was using and wanted to play with all of them. She gave some amazing expressions during her shoot in the bath tub. Overall Kavya was enjoying the session so much that she didn’t wanted it to end.

 

About Kavya’s Family

Kavya’s family members included her father, mother, her cousin and bua.


They all were very excited to see Kavya posing so well and all of us tried our best to keep that smile on her face by singing songs, dancing, reciting poems for her.


Everybody contributed so well in getting some beautiful shots. During the family shoot, the way all of them were posing clearly showed their love and bond with each other. It was a happy family shoot.

 

Props I Used

Props that were used for this shoot were- Vintage theme cute little white tent, a golden cage, baskets, white furry wraps, tutu dress, name board, white pearls, a bath tub, little ducks and bubbles to go with the bath tub theme, some artificial pink flowers and green leaves, a black board and some heart shaped balloons.

I started with a vintage theme, that included a pink color backdrop with beautiful flowers and green leaves on the top to give it a nature loving look, a cute little tent, again with some pink flowers and green leaves on it and a gold cage for a vintage touch.


I made her sit in a cute little basket so that she is comfortable sitting with all those props around. Then we did a shoot with a pretty tutu dress on her and keeping the backdrop simple this time with just a pink dumping hanging behind her with her name on the white board.


Also, we did a goddess theme as well with while pearls around her neck and a white tutu on Kavya. She really looked gorgeous in that white attire, truly like a goddess.
We also used bath tub, bubbles and some water ducks as props for her, which she enjoyed the most.


Then came the family shoot. As it rained the whole day, we decided to conduct the photo-shoot at the club house.


Started with some fun props in parent’s hands that said ‘Oh Baby’& ‘Baby Girl. Then all the family members held heart shape balloons in their hand and posed, so it looked very coordinated together.


Finished off with some cute subtle poses with mum paa and baby.
